Peripheral maker 8BitDo has revealed when you’ll be able to get your hands on its 64 Controller, designed to work with the upcoming Analogue 3D that will support 4K output, with pre-orders for the $40 controller now open in black or white to match the Analogue 3D and shipping on March 19. The peripheral resembles 8BitDo’s Ultimate controller, featuring one thumbstick, six control buttons on the face, four bumper buttons, and remappable triggers. The controller also includes a built-in Rumble Pak and is compatible with the Analogue 3D, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Android devices. The octagonal gate around the thumbstick and wear-resistant metal joystick ring aim to prevent stick drift, offering a nostalgic nod to the original N64 controller with a more ergonomic design for modern gameplay. Pre-orders for the Analogue 3D console also opened on Monday, with the black version still available and controllers sold separately.
