Mobile developer Alessandro Paluzzi spotted an Instagram feature in development: real-time Spotify integration. The code suggests that songs played on Spotify will automatically create Notes within Instagram, visible on top of your inbox and profile picture. A similar feature already exists in Discord, and Instagram users can manually add Spotify tracks to their Notes or Stories. However, since Instagram isn’t typically kept open for chat like Discord, the value of real-time music integration remains uncertain.
