Netflix unveiled a clip from “The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep” during their Geeked Week 2024 event, featuring the returning voice of Geralt of Rivia, Doug Cockle. The clip previewed Geralt’s encounter with merpeople, as Cockle enthusiastically teased the upcoming battles. The scene showcased Geralt and Jaskier by a campfire, with Jaskier playing matchmaker for the monster slayer. The release date of the animated film is set for February 11, 2025, based on Andrzej Sapkowski’s “A Little Sacrifice” and produced by Studio MIR. The film will explore a conflict between humans and merpeople in a seaside village, bridging the gap between episodes of the Netflix series. The clip also features Cockle’s introduction and can be viewed online.
