No Halloween, Thanksgiving, or Christmas is complete without viewing one of the holiday adjacent Peanuts specials. Apple TV now owns the television rights to It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving, and A Charlie Brown Christmas, but they want everyone to enjoy these classics this year. Apple announced that all three Peanuts specials will be available to everyone, regardless of an Apple TV subscription, with each special available for streaming on two days each month leading up to Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown will be free to stream on October 19 and 20, featuring Linus waiting for the Great Pumpkin and Charlie Brown receiving rocks while trick-or-treating. A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving will be available on November 23 and 24, showcasing Peppermint Patty inviting the gang for a feast while Snoopy prepares his own meal. A Charlie Brown Christmas will stream for free on December 14 and 15, with iconic moments like Snoopy’s holiday display and the gang’s transformation of a small tree into a Christmas centerpiece. The special features a memorable musical score by Lee Mendelson and Vince Guaraldi.
