The first of two Sea of Stars content updates for the next year, called Dawn of Equinox, has an official release date of November 12. This update adds a co-op mode, new combat mechanics, and other features to the game, allowing players to enjoy the entire game together with up to two friends in local co-op mode. The update also includes Combat 2.0, Mystery Locks, Combo points retention after battles, rebalancing of the game, and new game modes and mechanics for the characters Valere and Zale. Additionally, a new DLC called Throes of the Watchmaker will be released next spring, introducing an all-new storyline to the game. Sea of Stars has received positive reviews and accolades, including winning Best Indie Game at the Game Awards. The game is available on all major platforms and the updates will be provided for free.
