Boss Level Games has announced the upcoming release of two new retro style games under its RetroRealms banner, based on the classic slasher flick Halloween and the Starz horror comedy series Ash vs. Evil Dead. Set to be released on October 18 for various gaming platforms, the Halloween game allows players to control Michael Myers as he slashes his way through Haddonfield, while the Ash vs. Evil Dead game puts players in the shoes of Ash Williams battling Deadites with his chainsaw and boomstick. These games can be purchased separately or together in a “Double Feature” bundle, with a special “Collectors’ Edition” offering additional playable characters and Halloween-themed goodies. Boss Team Games, the studio behind Evil Dead: The Game, teases that these releases are just the beginning of a new series of throwback game projects for console and PC.
