Coming to Xbox Series X/S and PC on December 9, “Indiana Jones and the Great Circle” will be available on Game Pass Ultimate day-one. Although it is also headed to PlayStation 5, the game will not be available on Sony’s console until spring 2025. Rumors have been circulating for a while about the possibility of the game being available on PS5, despite previous statements from Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer indicating otherwise. MachineGames, the developer of “The Great Circle,” was acquired by Microsoft as part of the ZeniMax acquisition in 2021. Testifying in court proceedings, Bethesda VP Pete Hines revealed that the game was originally planned for multiple platforms but became an exclusive for Xbox after Microsoft’s acquisition. Xbox is not obligated to release the game on PS5 or any other platform, separate from their controversial acquisition of Activision Blizzard. A recent preview of the game showcased plenty of Nazi punching and slapping mechanics, making it a charming and exciting experience for players.
