    Amazon’s updated Fire HD 8 tablet with better performance is already on sale for Prime Day

    Amazon introduced the latest version of its Fire HD 8 tablet lineup on Wednesday, featuring increased RAM, an improved rear camera, and built-in AI capabilities. The 2024 model, starting at $100 with lock-screen ads, is already on sale for October Prime Day. With an 8-inch display and 1280 x 800 resolution, the new Fire HD 8 offers 3GB of RAM in the base storage tier and 4GB in the 64GB variant, a significant upgrade from the previous model. Amazon promises up to 13 hours of battery life and a 5MP rear camera for the tablet, which also includes generative AI features like Writing Assist and web page summarization. The new lineup also includes two kids’ versions with child-friendly designs and access to Amazon Kids+. Don’t miss out on the discounted prices during October Prime Day 2024.
