Out of beta, iOS 18 is now available for public download as of Monday afternoon, compatible with all iPhone 16 models that will be released on September 20. Users can update their eligible devices by navigating to Settings > General > About > Software Update, starting the download process. A list of supported iPhone models is provided for reference. Noteworthy features of iOS 18 include Apple Maps upgrades, Calendar integration with Reminders, expanded Tapback options in Messages, and Safari’s new “Highlights” function. Apple Intelligence, a standout feature, will be introduced in October as part of a subsequent update. In addition to iOS 18, other major Apple operating system updates such as iPadOS 18, visionOS 2, macOS Sequoia, tvOS 18, and watchOS 11 are also available for download. Users are advised to check device eligibility and ensure they have enough storage space before updating.
