This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Warcraft gaming universe, but unfortunately, there will not be a BlizzCon gathering to celebrate it. Instead, Blizzard is hosting a live streaming event, with the special stream scheduled to start at 1PM ET on Wednesday, November 13. The broadcast will be available on Blizzard’s official streaming channels for Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok. While details are scarce, fans can expect a special concert honoring World of Warcraft’s 20th anniversary, followed by a live performance called World of Warcraft: 20 Years of Music featuring the 21st Century Orchestra and various choirs. Activision Blizzard made the decision to cancel BlizzCon 2024 earlier in the year, potentially due to recent struggles within the company, such as layoffs and the formation of a major union for World of Warcraft workers.
