Elon Musk’s Boring Company pitched the Vegas Loop, underground tunnels beneath Las Vegas, as a solution to reduce gridlock in the city, using ordinary Tesla vehicles to transport people in tunnels and terminals. However, reports from Fortune revealed that there have been numerous issues in the tunnels, including trespassing, property damage, theft, technical problems, and injuries. Despite these problems, county commissioners approved plans to expand the tunnels to 65 miles and add more passenger stations.
