Cards Against Humanity is suing SpaceX for trespassing and filling its property with ‘space garbage’

Cards Against Humanity has filed a $15 million lawsuit against Elon Musk’s SpaceX, alleging trespassing on its property in Texas adjacent to SpaceX facilities. The irreverent party game company claims that SpaceX has been using their land without permission for the last six months, causing damage and disruption with construction activities. The lawsuit outlines how SpaceX never sought permission or acknowledged the damage caused, instead issuing a lowball offer for the land. In response, Cards Against Humanity has taken legal action, promising to share any proceeds with the fans who originally crowdfunded the land purchase as a protest against Donald Trump’s border wall. CAH has set up a website for subscribers to potentially receive a portion of the $15 million payout if the lawsuit is successful. SpaceX has not yet responded to the allegations, but this issue highlights broader concerns about the company’s land acquisition tactics in Southern Texas. Cards Against Humanity condemns Musk’s behavior, citing previous accusations of racism and sexism at Tesla and amplification of antisemitic theories, stating that SpaceX’s actions are offensive given the company’s values and the purpose for which the land was acquired.
