Xfinity customers automatically receive a one-year subscription to the Perplexity Pro AI answer engine. The offer was announced on Threads by Perplexity, providing unlimited quick answers from AI models such as GPT-4o, Claude-3, and Sonar Large. To claim this free year of Perplexity, Xfinity customers must log into their Xfinity Rewards account to obtain a promo code, which can be entered on Perplexity’s website to start using the service. While a Perplexity Pro subscription typically costs $20, Xfinity customers can enjoy a year’s worth of service for free. It is worth noting that Perplexity has faced allegations of plagiarism by Condé Nast and scrutiny from Amazon regarding its practices. However, with the service being complimentary for Xfinity users, it may serve as a valuable tool despite these concerns. Update: Previous wording suggesting Amazon’s accusation of plagiarism has been clarified, indicating that only Condé Nast made such claims. This article may contain affiliate links that generate commissions from purchases.
