PC gamers who have been eagerly anticipating the long-awaited port of Final Fantasy XVI to their platform of choice can finally rejoice, as the action RPG is set to release on Steam and the Epic Games Store on September 17. Previously only available on PlayStation 5, PC players can now experience a taste of the game by trying out the demo on Steam and the Epic store. Final Fantasy XVI takes a different approach with its combat system, moving away from the traditional turn-based gameplay to a more action-packed hack-and-slash style, which has divided fans but still manages to deliver a fun and relatively easy gaming experience with strong performances from the cast and epic boss battles. This shift in gameplay, along with the visually exciting elemental attacks, adds to the overall cinematic scope of the game.
