Many of Apple Intelligence’s most anticipated features, such as AI-generated images and custom emoji, will arrive in a trickle after the release of iOS 18. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, these features may not be available until December, with Apple Intelligence expected to debut with iOS 18.1, possibly in October. Genmoji and Image Playground are not among the initial features of Apple Intelligence but are predicted to ship with iOS 18.2 in December. Apple showcased these features at its June event, with Genmoji allowing users to create custom emoji and Image Playground enabling users to generate images in different styles. These features will eventually be available for the iPhone 16 line, set to be revealed on Monday, September 9 at Apple’s It’s Glowtime event, along with other recent iPhone models. Apple Intelligence will also introduce ChatGPT integration, message summarization, a smarter Siri, and more.
