College and university students in the US can now get a Max subscription at half the price of regular subscribers, thanks to a student discount promo that is back in effect. By verifying their student status through UNiDAYS, students can access Max for $5 per month instead of $10, with ads included. Signing up for a UNiDAYS account is free and also opens up opportunities for discounts from other companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Uber Eats. Max will continue charging the discounted rate as long as the user remains a student, though re-verification is required every 12 months. An Ad Free version of Max is available for $17 per month, while the Ultimate Ad Free version costs $21 per month and includes additional features like streaming on four devices simultaneously and 100 downloads for offline viewing. Max offers a wide range of content, including classic HBO series, newer HBO titles created for streaming, and a variety of popular movies.
