Samsung’s first 5K monitor is now on sale at Amazon for almost half off its original price after debuting at CES 2023 as the ViewFinity S9 5K monitor and launching first in South Korea before coming to the United States with a list price of $1,599. Now, the 27-inch monitor is available for only $830, 48 percent less than its original price tag and the lowest price seen on the e-commerce platform. Comparable to the 27-inch Apple Studio Display, the ViewFinity S9 boasts a 5,120 x 2,880 resolution, 218 pixels per inch, 99 percent DCI-P3 color saturation, and a 60Hz refresh rate. Designed with creatives in mind, it features a matte display to reduce reflections and an Intelligent Eye Care mode to optimize brightness and reduce eye strain. With DisplayPort and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity, it is compatible with both Windows and Mac devices, making it a versatile option for various workflows. Additionally, it comes equipped with a SlimFit 4K camera, Apple AirPlay compatibility for screen mirroring, the ability to pivot 90 degrees for vertical viewing, and embedded smart TV apps and Samsung’s Gaming Hub for entertainment.
