If you have a Galaxy phone from 2019, be cautious with software updates as Samsung’s latest update is reportedly bricking devices from the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy Note 10 series, as well as Galaxy M51 and A90 models. The affected devices may experience a bootloop and not fully turn back on. Do not factory reset your device as you may lose data. Samsung has pulled the update and released a newer version to address the issue. In other news, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against TikTok for violating a child privacy law in the state. YouTube is increasing Shorts video limits to three minutes starting on October 15, while the James Webb Space Telescope has captured a supernova in one image, shedding light on the expansion of the universe.
