Square Enix’s remarkable Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series has now landed on Xbox, featuring classic games from the 1980s and ’90s that were previously available on PC, mobile, Switch, and PS4. The entire six-game series can be purchased on Xbox Series X/S for $75, or individual installments are available for prices ranging from $12 to $18. These remasters of Final Fantasy I through VI boast updated pixel graphics optimized for modern HD displays, as well as remastered soundtracks with the option to switch back to the original chiptune versions. Gameplay customization options include boosting experience gains, turning off random encounters, and enabling auto-battle for a more casual experience. Additionally, other Square Enix titles like Trials of Mana, Legend of Mana, and Dragon Quest III HD-2D Remake are also now available or available for pre-order on Xbox.
