    The iPhone 16 launches September 20 and starts at $799

    The iPhone 16 series is set to hit stores on September 20, with pre-orders opening online on September 13. The iPhone 16 Pro will start at $999, while the larger iPhone 16 Pro Max will start at $1,199, all with a baseline storage of 128GB and running iOS 18. The new iPhones will feature Apple Intelligence features and will be available for purchase in October in the US. Apple’s consistent release schedule suggests that the iPhone 16 lineup will follow past patterns, with pre-orders opening the Friday following the announcement event and the devices becoming available for purchase on Friday, September 20.
