Uber has updated its teen accounts with new and improved features designed for convenience and security, in addition to previous functions like tracking trip progress and Uber Eats connectivity. Available in all 50 states and over 250 cities, parents can now apply these features to their teens’ accounts. The new guardian booking feature allows parents to book trips using their own phones and access the same security features as a teen account. Parents with an Uber One membership can share benefits with teens, including free delivery and cash back trips. Cash back funds can be used by teens for future rides. Teen accounts can now use Uber Reserve to request rides up to 90 days ahead, with bookings possible with just 30 minutes’ notice. Lastly, teens can now use Uber Cash from gift cards for future rides or food.
