The multiplayer mini-golf game Walkabout Mini Golf has been a hit since it debuted alongside the Meta Quest 2, and now it is expanding to iOS devices. Mighty Coconut, the developer, is currently beta testing the mobile version, called Walkabout Mini Golf: Pocket Edition, with plans to release the full version on the App Store on October 10. Despite being on mobile, the Pocket version maintains the virtual interface, offering two modes of play: “Touch-to-Putt” using the touch screen or “Swing-to-Putt” where players hold their iPhones like a putter. Known for its stylized courses inspired by movies, TV shows, and games like Labyrinth, Myst, and Wallace & Gromit, Walkabout Mini Golf is a popular multiplayer VR game for the Meta Quest series. Mighty Coconut has also collaborated with art companies like Meow Wolf and based courses on works by Jules Verne.
