Alo Moves, one of our favorite workout apps for yoga and pilates, is making its way to VR with Meta Quest 3 for $69 a year. Alo Moves XR will be the first wellness app on the platform to offer volumetric 3D-capture classes, allowing for a more immersive experience. The app features classes from all angles using volumetric 3D techniques, offering picturesque locations and room mapping for safety. With 32 classes across yoga, pilates, and mindfulness, including popular instructors like Ashley Galvin and Bianca Wise, Alo Moves XR promises a structured release schedule and additional offerings in the future. The app aims to create an in-person experience, standing out from other fitness apps on Meta like Oh Shape and Les Mills Bodycombat. The cost for Alo Moves XR is $10 per month or $69 a year, with special discounts for bundle purchases and existing subscribers.
