After a decade of waiting, Warner Bros. has finally released a teaser for the long-anticipated live-action movie adaptation of Minecraft. The one-minute video confirms the theater-only release date of April 4, 2025, after previous delays from May 2019 to March 2022. Directed by Jared Hess and starring Jack Black as Minecraft Steve, the film also features an ensemble cast including Jason Momoa, Emma Meyers, Danielle Brooks, Sebastian Eugene Hansen, and Jennifer Coolidge.
