Don’t Nod has confirmed that the spiritual successor to its popular video game series Life is Strange, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, will be launching in two parts with the first gameplay trailer now revealed. The first part, Tape 1, is set to release on February 18, 2025, followed by Tape 2 exactly a month later on March 18, 2025. The delay of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage from late 2024 to early 2025 was announced earlier this year, with the primary reason being to avoid competition with Square Enix and Deck Nine Games’ upcoming game in the Life is Strange series, titled Life is Strange: Double Exposure. The new gameplay trailer showcases the unique time-switching mechanics of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, allowing players to navigate between 1995 and 2022 timelines. The game will feature a dynamic dialog system that changes based on player actions and choices. Lost Records: Bloom & Rage will be available on PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PS5, with no word yet on a Switch version. Don’t Nod also announced plans for physical PS5 copies, with no set release date. Visitors to Gamescom 2024 can visit Don’t Nod’s booth for a photo booth themed after Lost Records: Bloom & Rage.
