“The Plucky Squire” has been a highly anticipated game for me ever since it first appeared in showcases a few years ago, and after being delayed out of 2023, it is finally set to release on September 17 for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. The game, published by Devolver Digital and developed by All Possible Futures, follows the story of Jot as he navigates through 3D and 2D environments to save his friends and ensure a happy ending. The visuals are charming and reminiscent of Zelda, Mario, and LittleBigPlanet, making it a promising debut for All Possible Futures. In addition, Sony announced the release of a new version of the point-and-click game “Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars” for PS5 on September 19, while “Sulfur,” a first-person shooter with extensive playstyle flexibility, is slated for release on PS4 and PS5 in 2025.
