Nintendo has announced that “Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp” will be shutting down on November 28, but players’ saves will be transferred to a new app in development. Since its global launch in 2017, “Pocket Camp” has provided the core Animal Crossing experience on smartphones, with special limited-time events. Sales of Leaf Tickets will end on November 27, along with the discontinuation of subscription plans for the Pocket Camp Club. Existing players can look forward to a new paid app without in-app purchases, allowing them to continue their progress in building pint-sized communities. More details on the new app are expected to be released in October.
