This fall, Genshin Impact is set to debut on Xbox, as announced during Gamescom 2024 by developer HoYoverse. The free-to-play open-world game will be available on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming starting on November 20, offering Xbox players the same updates, cross-play, and cross-progression as other platforms. Players can wishlist it now and Xbox Game Pass members can pre-install in advance. Since its launch in September 2020, Genshin Impact has received numerous content updates, expanded to additional platforms, and inspired an anime series. Following this success, HoYoverse released the science fiction title Honkai: Star Rail last spring, and more recently announced Zenless Zone Zero for this spring.
