Despite its potential educational value, Roblox has faced criticism for being an unsafe environment for children, with accusations of child exploitation and financial exploitation on the platform. The app has even been banned in certain countries and faced resistance from platforms like Sony due to child safety concerns. While Roblox CEO David Baszucki has taken steps to address these issues, some argue that the platform should focus on improving its own safety measures before teaching kids about online scams.
