During Apple’s It’s Glowtime iPhone 16 launch event, the first hardware news announced was about the Apple Watch Series 10, which now features a larger screen size of 42mm or 46mm and a thinner design. Our reporters, Billy Steele and Cherlynn Low, were live in Cupertino providing updates and hands-on experiences with the new devices. While the Apple Watch SE was not mentioned during the event, it remains part of the official lineup, and the previous model, Apple Watch Ultra 2, now comes in a shiny black color option. The Series 10 boasts a wide-angle OLED screen, two metal finishes (aluminum or titanium), and a more powerful S10 SiP. It includes a built-in depth gauge for underwater activities and a new feature to detect breathing disturbances during sleep. The watch will support watchOS 11, offering new health and fitness features like Training Load and a Vitals app. Pre-orders for the Series 10 opened on the same day as the event, starting at $399 for aluminum and $699 for titanium models. The Apple Watch Ultra 2 received a black finish update and offers a new Titanium Milanese strap for $799. Pre-orders are available now, with shipments starting on September 20.
