Xbox continues to impress with its accessibility accommodations for gamers with disabilities, unveiling several new controllers to enhance the gaming experience. The Xbox Adaptive Joystick, costing only $30, features customizable button inputs, thumbstick, and additional bumper and trigger-style buttons, catering to individuals with limited mobility. Microsoft also introduced 3D-printable files for adaptive thumbstick toppers, allowing users to customize their controllers for easier handling. In partnership with 8BitDo, the Lite SE 2.4G Wireless Controller offers a gamepad with top surface inputs, low-resistance buttons, and Hall effect joysticks for enhanced sensitivity, available for $60. Additionally, the ByoWave Proteus Controller, revealed earlier this year, is now available for purchase, offering modular parts for customizable gameplay experiences, priced at $299 in select regions. These updates demonstrate Microsoft’s commitment to inclusivity and innovation in gaming technology.
