Netflix and the BBC have released an all-too-brief look at Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, featuring a clip of Wallace introducing his latest invention, a “smart gnome” named Norbot, to Gromit. The short clip showcases charm and humor, with the smart gnome concept adding a touch of wit that aligns with the series’ trademark humor. However, Norbot’s design and overly cheery attitude hint at trouble ahead, as it is designed to assist with gardening tasks but may end up causing chaos. The film will also see the return of franchise villain Feathers McGraw. Directed by Nick Park and Merlin Crossingham, Wallace and Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl will be the second full-length film in the franchise’s history, set to release on Netflix later this year. A deal between Netflix and Aardman will bring the film to global audiences, except in the UK where it will premier on the BBC.
