Streaming prices are typically on the rise, but Paramount+ is currently offering a rare deal where prices are actually going down. For a limited time until September 6th, they are slashing 50% off their plans, bringing the cheapest option down to $30 for the year. This deal applies to the Essential plan, which includes access to Paramount+ programming with ads. While not specifically a Labor Day sale, it is available alongside other holiday deals. The Essentials plan does not include Showtime, which is available for $60 per year with a 50% discount. This plan also offers live CBS streaming, the ability to download shows to a mobile device, and is ad-free (except for live TV). Paramount+ is known for hosting new Star Trek shows, Tulsa King, Mayor of Kingstown, and other genre fare like the Sonic the Hedgehog spinoff Knuckles and a remake of Stephen King’s The Stand. Showtime, on the other hand, offers access to hit shows like Yellowjackets, Billions, and The Chi.
