The tech world was abuzz in August with Google’s surprise announcement of the Made By Google keynote, usually held in October, featuring the launch of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Alongside the new smartphones, the Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 were introduced, with various Gemini integrations and software features incorporated into the devices. The Pixel 9, featuring a redesigned look, enhanced camera capabilities, and improved Tensor G4 chip, will launch with Android 14. The Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL share similar specs with additional camera features and memory options, while the Pixel 9 Pro Fold boasts a larger foldable screen and advanced camera capabilities. The Pixel Watch 3 offers improved display sizes and features, while maintaining a focus on health and fitness tracking. All devices will be available for pre-order with the Pixel 9 series launching on August 22 and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold on September 4.
