The PlayStation Network is currently experiencing issues worldwide, causing disruptions in matches and crashing games. According to Downdetector reports, the problem began around 8PM Eastern time on September 30. Sony Interactive Entertainment has not yet addressed the problem officially but has updated the PlayStation Network status page to indicate service outages. Users are unable to sign in, create new accounts, or make changes to existing accounts on various PlayStation consoles, including the PS5, PS4, PS Vita, and PS3, as well as on the web. Streaming games, browsing for new games, redeeming vouchers, making purchases, and downloading previously bought titles are all currently unavailable. The company is working to resolve the issue and has asked for patience from users. Stay tuned for updates.
