The ridiculous rhythm game, Trombone Champ, which becomes funnier the worse you are at it, is set to make its way to virtual reality headsets this fall. Developed by Flat2VR Studios as a “reimagining” of Holy Wow Studios’ original game, Trombone Champ: Unflattened allows players to perform on a virtual stage as notes come hurling towards them in a Guitar Hero-style fashion. The game offers over 50 songs to play through, with the ability for players to customize their trombone with different colors and absurd variants. In addition, players can mod the game to add their own tracks and characters, allowing for creative combinations like playing “Baby One More Time” on a trombone with a fish attached. Available on Meta Quest, Steam VR, and PlayStation VR2, Trombone Champ: Unflattened promises to be a unique and entertaining VR experience for gamers of all levels.
