The game has been rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5, focusing on a more cinematic and intimate experience. The remake features updated character models, environments, visual effects, and animations, taking advantage of upgraded rendering and ray-tracing capabilities. The action will now be from a third-person perspective with a controllable camera, and more collectibles have been added for an enhanced experience. Ballistic Moon studio, handling the remake as Supermassive Games works on other projects, has also improved accessibility and usability settings to ensure a broader audience can enjoy Until Dawn.
