Users can now utilize this toolset to send out one-time payments or requests, or schedule recurring transactions to go out monthly, weekly, or bi-weekly. Push notification reminders are sent the day before a payment is scheduled to ensure funds are available, with the platform pulling from the connected bank account if necessary. This feature is currently being rolled out. This functionality is particularly beneficial for those with roommates handling bills or individuals with poor organization skills, as it automates and streamlines the payment process. Venmo continues to enhance its service offerings, recently integrating tap-to-pay support for Android phones and allowing users to send cryptocurrency to one another.
