Speculations based on Apple’s past release history suggest that preorders for the iPhone 16 may open on Friday, Sept. 13, with the official launch in stores on Friday, Sept. 20. As for the new Apple Watch and AirPods products expected to be announced alongside the iPhone 16 series, they may also follow a similar release schedule, but delays are possible. Older iPhones that are eligible for iOS 18 can update their software to mimic the features of the newer models. The official release dates for new hardware and software will be updated after Apple’s event on Monday.
