The Xbox August update has arrived, bringing plenty of little tweaks and new features. One major update is the expansion of the Xbox streaming app to more Fire TV devices, allowing more users to access Xbox Cloud Gaming. The app was previously available on select Fire TV devices but is now accessible on more models, requiring a Game Pass subscription. Discord integration has been improved, allowing Xbox consoles to notify users of friends playing, chatting, or streaming, making it easier to engage in voice chats or watch streams directly from the console. Users can now customize downloads to save hard drive space, and additional controller customization options are available. The update is currently rolling out and will be accessible to all users by the end of the week, applying to Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S.
