The first-person shooter Doom has been ported to numerous consoles and computers, prompting modders to explore unconventional platforms such as autonomous lawnmowers, digestive bacteria, and even Doom II itself. One of the less popular and playable ports is the Sega Saturn version, criticized as “completely worthless” and “to be avoided at all costs” by Gamespot’s Jeff Gerstmann. However, a reverse engineer named Bo discovered a dormant cheat code in the Sega Saturn Doom port after nearly a decade. This cheat code, X, Right, B, Y, X, Right, B, Y, allows players to see through walls in the game, offering a unique perspective on the Mars substation and Hell. Despite this discovery, players lament the lack of a cheat code that could enhance the overall gameplay experience.
